GRAPHIC TRIAL 2011

EXHIBITION / POSTED ON 05.13.2011 / PERMALINK

Participation in “GRAPHIC TRIAL 2011”
This exhibition provided the opportunity to explore the ideal relationship between graphic design and printing technologies, and to try and acquire new forms of expression.
I have often wondered why dialogues between designers and printing workers are so unclear and abstract, and therefore used this opportunity to set “clarification of standards” as a concept in thus attempting to remove any unclear or abstract aspects. For example, a couple of the themes revolved around “how colors change when overprinted 100 times” and “where is the limit of extremely thin lines and extremely small characters”. I created conceptual products around these themes, which allowed digitalization of rated values and limits for printing.

GRAPHIC TRIAL 2011
